| Abstract: | Firstly, generalized sum and generalized connected sum of topological spaces have been defined and then some of the important properties of these generalized sums are studied in this paper. In a special case when the generalized sum X1 +L+ X n is arcwise connected, the fundamental group ( ) 1 n π X +L+ X has been determined in that situation. |
