Graceful in appearance, adorable greatness, memorable for excellence, widely recognised and respected Begum Rokeya, despite being a woman, was virtually a human being of par excellence, an icon for the people of Bengal. She was a role model from the point of view of literary productions, social reforms, and far-sightedness in the spread of her thoughts. Begum Rokeya was self-educated, and a creative author. She acquired mastery both in Bengali and English languages and she was equally fluent and artistically playful in expression. By way of assimilating social ideas, she reproduced them in her inimitable style.en_US
